Q18 uses MTK6260A 360MHz while DZ09 uses MTK6260A 533MHz. Is there any major different in performance. Although I like the size of the DZ09 but I find it difficult to get the original DZ09. I have ordered 3 DZ09 but all 3 turned out to be using MTK6261 although it was advertised as MTK6260A. Looks like the market is flooded with DZ09 clones. Given up hope on getting the DZ09. Currently is there any clone for Q18. Only know there are Q18 and Q18 Apro.

I received my Q18 today and was disappointed because what was sent to me was Q18 using MTK6261D chipset although it was advertised by the seller as MTK6260A chipset. So it doesn't has FM radio, no video recorder. Need sd card for the camera to work

I received the q18,the hardware is the versión that i want, removable back cover, removable battery,sim and sdcard without screws,look like have Facebook and wassap icons, but I cant find the calculateor,how to changue the background imagen,the skins,only three,look horrible.
I dont know the versión of mtk chipset.
Somebody can tell me how to check the versión and what alternative firm can i flash?

I made a backup of my firmware,my q18 look a 6261 chipset,I don't know if is D or AD ,if somebody can help me to identify my watch...the backup was made with a dz09 6261 .cfg file, I tried with a cfg file from other q18 and send me a error,maybe de firm of this q18 is 6260A.

Please, what is the better firm 6261 to flash,more o better faces,diferents wallpapers,facebook,wasap etc,to try,maybe I have good look and work all ok

How to unblock apps?

I've got the Q18 and accidentally blocked whatsapp on the remote notifier. I can't work out how to unblock it. Can anyone help?

Just notice that some of the suppliers are selling a newer version or maybe trying to pass off as a newer version: Apro Q18s Q18s has the curved screen

The chip is not mtk, its bchip, and you get 32x32 memory. If you do a seach on 4pda.ru, it shows and talks about it.

Sounds like you got a fake like a lot of us. Try doing * # 83751 # and check your firmware version. If it says GT08S, then yeah you got scammed like I did. And FYI you can go into Eng Mod with *#3646633#

ok, now. I am an onwer of this watch as well... i am not that much surprised of its capabilities so i might try and flash it to a newer rom. the point is i am not sure of what rom i can download for not harming it....
typing in *#00000000# i got the SSC Info:

oh and i think my watch is from the future....

Vibration Problem

Hello everyone! A friend of me, bought the Q8 smartwatch. He asked me if I know how to activate vibration when the alarm rings and gave me the watch to see if I can find a solution. Now the smartwatch does not vibrate at all. I asked my friend if this happend form the first time and he said me that the first time it was vibrating when it was ringing for the incoming calls, but not when the alarm was ringing. After a while it stopped at all. Does anybody know how to do this smartwatch vibrate again and if it supports vibration when the alarm rings?

I tried from the menu and in the profile settings the vibration is on, but the watch does not vibrate at all.

Use any QR code scanner from play store. Install it on your phone. One of the apps on the watch is a QR code. Click it and it brings up the code on the watch face. Scan it with your phone and it will take you to a website where you download the sync software. If you have paired your watch and phone with bluetooth it will now install/sync your watch and phone.

But what if, like me, you scan the QR code and the you are directed to a site where everything is in Chinese ? I bought this watch, everything works fine, except that I can't use the apps found there.... In that way, the watch is only half useful. Would be possible to find an English translation of this site ? (I guesss is Tencent.com). Thanks
