Rated 1 out of 5 by Anonymous from Disappointing & Offensive Bought this book for a child interested in learning to draw manga. They tutorials are simple to follow, but some of them are plainly offensive. Specifically, the stick-thin girls in submissive, "girly" poses, and the one example of a "larger" person was an offensive stereotype that looks more like a woman in a fat suit than a real person... I was disappointed and my child was offended. There are ways of drawing that don't promote body dysmorphia and fat-shaming, I'm sure.
